Looking to support foster youth, families who are fostering children and families in crisis? The One Less Ministry uses an online platform called Care Portal to meet community and church based needs. If you would like to receive emails about needs that come up, please click the "I want to volunteer" button and fill out the form. These may be physical needs, prayer requests, meal support, mentoring, tutoring, etc.

The need is great. There are over 400,000 children in the foster care system throughout the United States. Here in Riverside County, there are over 4,000 children in foster care at any given time, with hundreds entering foster care annually. There are not enough loving homes for these children to go to. If you are interested in pulling up an extra chair to your table and opening your home to one or more of these children, let us know. We are here to support you, answer questions, and connect you with partnering organizations that can assist you with moving forward. Just click the button above, and we will reach out.
There are many options when it comes to providing care:
Hosting - A short-term, voluntary arrangement involving caring for children while a parent addresses a crisis they are experiencing.
Fostering- You become a certified foster family who will care for children who have experienced neglect or abuse.
Respite Care - You become a certified foster family that can provide temporary care for a child or children who are already placed with a family. That family may need to be away for few days or may need a little break, which is when you would step in to help out.
Adoption - Where a child permanently becomes part of your family.
