GriefShare

Grief share begins on Thursday, February 14 and will be meeting from 2-4pm in the Fellowship Hall. The cost of the 13-week class is $20 and includes a workbook.

“GriefShare” is a powerful grief recovery program for those suffering the loss of a loved one. Unresolved grief can affect a person’s life for the rest of his or her life. Don’t let that happen to you or someone you know who is suffering loss.

Groups meet each Thursday from 2 to 4 PM in a safe and confidential environment where participants can gain a better understanding of the grief process and receive encouragement, hope and coping skills in a loving atmosphere. Tears are just fine! We understand.

Each class has a 30-40-minute video presentation and guided discussions on specific topics around the grief experience. People are free to share their hearts and feelings or to remain silent. There is no pressure. Video presentations include real-life discussions among people who have lost loved ones and guidance from experts in the field of grief recovery. The goal of GriefShare is to prevent pitfalls that prolong suffering, and to ensure that at the other side of loss is a whole, healthy, and meaningful life, knowing God’s love in new ways.

You can sign up in Fellowship Hall or contact CaroleeNhowell@gmail.com. Cost is $20, which includes a workbook. Scholarships are available, no questions asked. Just let a leader know.

This class is for those who have gone through the death of a loved one at any time,
it doesn't have to be a recent loss.
