GriefShare

Grief share begins on Thursday, October 10 and runs through Thursday, January 30, with holiday breaks. They will be meeting from 12-2pm in the Fellowship Hall. The cost of the class is $20 and includes a workbook.

“GriefShare” is a powerful grief recovery program for those suffering the loss of a loved one. Unresolved grief can affect a person’s life for the rest of his or her life. Don’t let that happen to you or someone you know who is suffering loss.

Groups meet each Thursday from 12 to 2 PM in a safe and confidential environment where participants can gain a better understanding of the grief process and receive encouragement, hope and coping skills in a loving atmosphere. Tears are just fine! We understand.

Each class has a 30-40-minute video presentation and guided discussions on specific topics around the grief experience. People are free to share their hearts and feelings or to remain silent. There is no pressure. Video presentations include real-life discussions among people who have lost loved ones and guidance from experts in the field of grief recovery. The goal of GriefShare is to prevent pitfalls that prolong suffering, and to ensure that at the other side of loss is a whole, healthy, and meaningful life, knowing God’s love in new ways.

If you have any questions, contact CaroleeNhowell@gmail.com. Cost is $20, which includes a workbook. Scholarships are available, no questions asked. Just let a leader know.

This class is for those who have gone through the death of a loved one at any time,
it doesn't have to be a recent loss.
